Astrology
A mirror, not a verdict
Astrology as a language for understanding who you are, the season you are moving through, and what may be unfolding within you.
What is a birth chart?
Your birth chart is a map of the sky at the moment and place you were born: where the Sun, Moon, and planets sat, seen from the spot where you took your first breath.
Astrology reads that map as a symbolic language for your patterns, strengths, contradictions, and seasons of change. Think of it as a play with three parts.
The planets
the actors
The parts of you. Your Sun is your core self, your Moon your emotional needs, Venus how you love and what you value.
The signs
the part they play
How each actor shows up. A Moon in Cancer and a Moon in Aries both need comfort, and look for it in very different ways.
The houses
the stage
Where in your life the scene plays out: home, work, relationships, purpose.
Every actor has parts they were made for. Jim Carrey shines as the lead in a comedy, playing someone a little lost. Cast him as a side character in a true-crime drama and it just isn't the same.
Your planets work the same way. Each one has its own roles and stages where it really comes alive.
You don't need to learn any of this to have a reading. I explain what matters in plain language as we go.
What is a reading?
A reading is a conversation about your chart. I bring the language of astrology; you bring your life.
I translate what your chart describes: the themes, patterns, and tensions that tend to show up for you. You're the expert on your own life, so you tell me what rings true, what doesn't, and where you'd like to look more closely.
A reading isn't meant to define you or hand you a fixed outcome. It creates space to reflect on what is already present, see your experiences from another angle, and recognize the choices available to you.
Who it's for
- Someone in a transition, or in a “why does this keep happening?” season
- Someone who only knows their Sun sign and is curious to learn more
- Someone who wants another way to look inward
- Someone approaching a turning-point age or a milestone
Why a reading helps
Words for what you already feel
Patterns you have sensed for years get a name, and what has a name is easier to work with.
A season, not a sentence
Hard stretches have a shape and a timing. Seeing that this is a season, and that it will pass, can make it easier to move through.
More kindness toward how you're built
Understanding your nature makes it easier to meet your tendencies with compassion instead of criticism.
The choices you actually have
Once you can see a pattern, you can see the choices available to you inside it.
What happens in a reading
01
Before
Book a time and share your birth date, time, and place. If there is a question or an area of life you would like to explore, bring it. If not, that's fine too.
02
During
We meet for 60 or 90 minutes, online or in person in Calgary, AB, Canada. I draw on whichever layers fit your question:
- Your natal chart: your foundations, the sky when you were born.
- Current transits: the season you're in now, where today's sky meets yours.
03
After
Your reading sheet, with reflections and questions to carry forward, waits in your private portal, along with your charts and a journal for your own notes.
A reading is an hour. Your portal keeps it.
Everything we work through stays in one calm, private place.
Your charts, retained
The charts reviewed in your session stay on file with your birth details. Return to them whenever you like.
A personal reading sheet
A written sheet after each reading, with reflections and questions to carry forward, there any time.
Transit journaling
A personal journaling space for the seasons we map together. Write now, and find your own words again when the cycle returns. Only you can read it.

What a reading isn't
It isn't fortune-telling
Through your transits I can show you what's coming up: the themes and the timing. Nothing is set in stone, and what you do with it is always yours to decide.
It isn't therapy
A reading can open things up, but it isn't a substitute for medical or mental health care. If you are in a hard place, please reach out to a professional as well.
It isn't a fixed fate
Your chart describes tendencies, not a script. You are always more than your chart.
Don't know your birth time? You're still welcome.
Your birth time is often on your long-form birth certificate, or in a hospital record or baby book. A parent or relative may remember. If none of that is possible, including for people who are adopted or estranged from family, a reading still works.
Without a time, your chart can still say a great deal about who you are: the planets, their signs, and how they speak to each other. What it can't show is where in life each part plays out, because the houses depend on the exact time. That part becomes your own reflection, and it is often where the richest conversation happens.
I know this from experience. For a year and a half, I worked with my own chart without a birth time, until I finally found it. Most of what mattered was already there.
Questions
Do I need to know any astrology?
No. Most people arrive knowing only their Sun sign, or nothing at all. I explain everything in plain language as we go.
What if I'm skeptical?
You're welcome as you are. You don't need to believe anything for a reading to be useful. Treat it as a structured reflection: take what resonates and leave the rest.
Should I book 60 or 90 minutes?
Sixty minutes suits one focused question or a first look at your chart. Ninety minutes gives room to explore your chart and the season you're in now in more depth.
Is it confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us. Your charts, reading sheet, and journal live in your private portal, and only you can read your journal.
Is the reading recorded?
No. Readings aren't recorded, so you can speak freely. Afterward you'll have your written reading sheet, and a private journal in your portal to make your own notes.
